I finally had time to slow down a bit, so it’s time for the lineup from the Family Battle last weekend at the NLCC.
Nine of the dogs running go back to Mir (DC Mielikki A Kind Of Magic SC LCM SGRC ORC). Van Geaux, Hemi, Cuda, Denver, Durango, Challenger, Hay Luz, Shelby, and Amras.
Six of the dogs running go back to Kazan (Chabibi’s Korona-Kazan SC SGRC LCM) and Sara (Rosehill GL Serigraph SC FCH JOR). Hemi, Cuda, Denver, Durango, Challenger, and Shelby.
Six of the dogs were from cobred Rose Hill/Zoiboyz litters – the Muscle Cars litter, Hemi, Cuda, Challenger and Shelby…….The Spirits/D litter, Denver and Durango.
Two of the dogs were from outside litters sired by Mir – Hay Luz and Amras.
On Saturday, the Mir/Kazan get took all the available placements in both Open and Specials.
On Sunday the Mir/Kazan get took all the available placements in Open and 1, 2, and 5 in Specials.
On Saturday a Kazan x Sara son from the Muscle Car Litter was BOB. On Sunday a Mir grandson out of a Sara sister (Phoenix) won BOB. The Muscle Car boy Cuda was the Best of the Best of Breed winner. He was also a very close second to the GH that won BIE.
It was a very friendly family feud. Great competition with great dogs and close friends.
yes indeed – great competition and great dogs. NO BORZOI DQs just a lot of good running. No controversial decisions. Best of the Best went to the best performer of the weekend hands down. Cuda put in some beautiful runs and KC and I are so very proud to be part of that family.
